SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – Three people were taken to a hospital for evaluation Monday morning after a one-alarm fire filled a San Francisco apartment building with smoke, a fire department spokeswoman said.

The fire was reported at 10:10 a.m. in the 800 block of 26th Avenue, near Golden Gate Park.

A computer had caught fire, sending smoke through the building and into the attic, San Francisco fire Lt. Karen Kerr said.

Firefighters controlled the blaze at 10:26 a.m.

Three people suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to the University of California at San Francisco Medical Center for observation, she said.
